Artista de Lanús expondrá en el Carrousel del museo del Louvre en París

Reinado Cortés ganó un concurso de la Secretaría de Cultura del municipio y su obra se exhibirá en esa área del famoso museo francés desde el 22 de octubre.

Muchos artistas sueñan con que sus obras se den a conocer y tengan el mayor alcance posible. Para Reinaldo Cortés esto se convirtió en una realidad ya que exhibirá uno de sus cuadros a partir del próximo 22 de octubre en el Carrousel du Louvre, que forma parte del famoso museo en París, Francia.

Su obra Luna en el Vientre será expuesta en el Carrousel del Louvre por haber ganado un concurso organizado por la Municipalidad de Lanús. En diálogo con AUNO, Reinaldo contó que nunca había enviado una obra a un concurso de estas características , pero cuando la Secretaría de Cultura lanusense abrió la convocatoria para que los artistas plásticos del distrito pudieran participar para exponer en el Carrousel del Museo del Louvre su compañera lo anotó y se encargó de la gestión y presentación de la obra.

Reinaldo, un artista de Tandil radicado en Lanús, es autor del arte de tapa de muchos discos, fue el diseñador del relanzamiento de la revista El Cruce que editaba la Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora y actualmente sus trabajos ilustran el suplemento Universidad que publica semanalmente el diario Página 12. Sus obras se pueden apreciar en su web www.estudiocaiman.com.

No pensó que iba a ganar porque el nivel de los participantes era “muy bueno” y las formas de abordar las temáticas “muy interesantes”. Pero sucedió. 

“Es muy lindo el reconocimiento y es extraño a la vez el hecho de saber que un trabajo propio va a estar en París siendo visto por miles de amantes del arte en un espacio con tanto reconocimiento y en una de las ciudades con los museos más importantes del mundo”, dijo el artista a AUNO.

El Carrousel du Louvre está ubicado en el subsuelo del famoso museo parisino. Inaugurada en 1993, es una galería comercial, pero también funciona como centro de convenciones y un sitio de exposiciones muy codiciado por los artistas.  

El cuadro Luna en el vientre no sólo crea una “espacialidad” de tierra y cielo dentro del vientre, ya que se puede ver una luna creciente al final de un río, sino también es un homenaje a los padres de su ahijada. Cuando su primo le contó que querían que sea el padrino de la ñiña por nacer, Reinaldo se puso “manos a la obra” y realizó el dibujo con tintas y fibras para colgar en la puerta de la habitación del hospital donde nació la bebé.

Reinaldo recordó que antes del nacimiento de su ahijada, la obra ya estaba terminada pero no se la había mostrado a los padres. Ellxs, sin haberla visto, se decidieron por el nombre de la beba: Luna. Esta coincidencia al artista lo “conmovió mucho” porque cuando el cuadro llegó a la clínica y lo vieron, el nombre estaba presente y “condimentó con algo de magia esa casualidad”.

En cuanto a las bases para participar en el concurso, el jurado tomó como parámetros que las obras comprendan el campo de la pintura, estas se podían realizar con materiales orgánicos o sintéticos y cuyas medidas no debían exceder de 50 cm de alto x 40 cm de ancho.

También se evaluó la técnica, la originalidad y la forma de abordar la historia que cada quien contó en su obra. En el caso puntual de Reinaldo, eligió como soporte al cuero ecológico y esto hizo que se corriera de lo tradicional, lo cual fue valorado.

Por motivos laborales y de costos, Cortés no podrá viajar a la exposición que se llevará a cabo desde el 22 hasta el 24 de octubre en Francia, pero para el artista lo “más gratificante es que juegue la obra”.

“Me siento agradecido y me alegra mucho la oportunidad internacional de difusión”, concluyó.

SOBRE LA EXPOSICIÓN

El evento internacional ART SHOPPING se celebra dos veces al año, en abril y en octubre, y tiene lugar en el centro comercial Carrousel du Louvre, que se encuentra debajo de la pirámide de cristal del museo.

Desde su creación en 2007, cientos de artistas pueden presentar sus obras a miles de visitantes, amantes del arte y compradores profesionales. Además, la muestra francesa reúne todas las disciplinas: pintura, fotografía, arte digital, escultura, street art, entre otros.

El compromiso principal de la exposición es “permitir un encuentro con los artistas de forma amistosa”, en el que se propone un “acceso fácil y desinhibido” al arte contemporáneo con obras “auténticas y originales” a precios accesibles.
