“Yo soy de la idea de que no hay tal cosa como un equipo argentino, como una sola delegación cuando hay un Juego Olímpico, porque confluyen deportistas individuales, colectivos, hombres, mujeres. Es un escenario muy diverso. Profesionales y amateurs, súper profesionales y becados”, reflexionó el periodista que comandará las transmisiones televisivas de TyC Sports de los Juegos Olímpicos.
Además, comentó que “dentro del contexto” que atraviesa el deporte argentino, “lo lógico sería pensar entre cero medallas de mínimo y seis de máxima” en los Juegos Olímpicos que comenzarán la semana próxima en Tokio.
“No minimizando a los deportistas sino poniendo en contexto lo difícil que ha sido conseguir medallas para un país como Argentina”, afirmó.
Bonadeo recordó que en estos Juegos Olímpicos habrá “por primera vez va a haber abanderado y abanderada”, pero aclaró que “el olimpismo se va a jactar de dar oportunidades igualitarias, pero históricamente ha sido muy discriminador.
