José Sand, goleador histórico de Lanús, jugó este sábado su último partido como profesional en la derrota como local ante Racing por 2-0 en la fecha 13 de la Copa LPF y, pese al dolor de la caída, los hinchas granates cambiaron rápidamente el chip y se quedaron a homenajear a su ídolo en un emotivo acto en La Fortaleza con un show de fuegos artificiales y la presencia de excompañeros, con quienes obtuvo cuatro títulos en la institución de la zona sur del Gran Buenos Aires.
“Estoy agradecido eternamente con el hincha, cuando vine a este club no esperaba esto y me hicieron el jugador más feliz de la Tierra”, comentó entre lágrimas en ahora exatacante de 43 años.
Entre las voces que pasaron por el homenaje, sobresalió la del atacante Lautaro Acosta, a quien reemplazó esta noche para jugar sus últimos minutos y con quien compartió plantel en todos los torneos ganados.
“Se muere una parte de mi carrera, me mejoró como jugador con desbordes, penales y apoyos que solo alguien con su calidad podía darme, lo disfruté hasta el último día”, relató. “Yo soy hincha de Lanús y, como buen Granate igual que mi familia, lo amamos y van a pasar muchos años hasta que aparezca un nuevo José”, continuó el Laucha.
