Luego de la polémica que se desató por la eliminación de la repitencia para los alumnos secundarios, medida que no se implementará este año, el gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, defendió la “reforma integral” del sistema educativo y dijo que el cambio de régimen lo van “a seguir discutiendo”.
Kicillof responsabilizó a la oposición de haber “destruido” el área y le sugirió que sea parte de “un debate a fondo” y deje de lado las “chicanas”, sobre todo tras los cruces que se generaron a raíz de la idea de cambiar el régimen de repitencia en la provincia de Buenos Aires.
“Vengo a bancar y a acompañar la reforma a nivel secundario porque es una reforma integral desde la inversión, la ampliación en establecimientos, la mejora salarial y luego la discusión del régimen de aprobación de materias, la discusión de todo esto”, sostuvo.
Desde el estadio único Diego Maradona de La Plata, donde encabezó el acto de entrega de mobiliario escolar para 15 distritos del conurbano, el mandatario remarcó que apoya un debate “a fondo y no de manera cobarde y chicanera” como proponen “los grandes medios macristas de la Capital Federal”.
“Parece que desde la ventanita del Obelisco tiran tosca hacia la provincia de Buenos Aires, tratan de embarrarla; esta transformación que se está llevando adelante no se echa para atrás; si quieren poner el grito en el cielo que lo pongan; es un régimen que se cambiaría a partir del año que viene y lo vamos a seguir discutiendo”, aseguró.
A principio de febrero, el Gobierno de Kicillof instaló el debate sobre repensar una estrategia para los alumnos que repiten, ya que hay consenso en el mundo educativo que no suelen aprender más si vuelven a cursar el mismo año. En ese sentido, buscan instalar un régimen de promoción distinto.
Justamente el punto de la repitencia es el que generó polémica con críticas de la oposición pero apoyo del Gobierno nacional. De hecho el ministro de Educación, Jaime Perczyk, aseguró que hay evidencia científica que indica que no sirve que un alumno vuelva a cursar contenidos que ya aprobó. Por eso la reforma promueve que los estudiantes avancen con su formación y sólo rindan las asignaturas específicamente adeudadas.
Para defender el modelo que impulsará la provincia de Buenos Aires y que ya rige en otros distritos del interior del país, el ministro de Educación de la Nación aseguró que Chile ya eliminó la repitencia y aplica otros criterios para que los alumnos promocionen y que Uruguay se encuentra camino a aprobar una reforma similar.
