Silvana Ruth Gómez tiene 49 años y trabaja en la línea 295. Por una luxación de cadera deben colocarle una costosa prótesis que no puede pagar. Familiares, allegados e incluso pasajeros impulsan una cruzada solidaria.
Su amabilidad y empatía al volante de un colectivo despertaron un cariño que hoy le da fuerza a un pedido solidario. Silvana Gómez (49), chofer de la línea 295 que une Lanús con Avellaneda, en el sur del Conurbano, necesita ayuda de la comunidad para poder pagar una costosa prótesis que le permita volver a caminar.
En ese sentido, en las redes sociales se han multiplicado en los últimos días publicaciones con su foto para difundir su actual situación y buscar resolverla. La mujer padece una luxación de cadera desde su nacimiento y sufre mucho los dolores de forma crónica, al punto que la imposibilitan de poder llevar una vida normal por la limitación de movimientos.
Según su entorno, sus traumatólogos ya le informaron que su cadera «no aguanta más» y que necesita urgentemente atravesar una cirugía para colocarle una prótesis importada y que tiene un costo de $600.000. El problema que expresaron es que su obra social, de la Unión Tranviarios Automotor (UTA) «no se hace cargo».
Y agregaron: «Le quieren ofrecer una prótesis de fabricación nacional que no es lo que ella necesita. Y ella debe hacerse la operación antes del mes de octubre».
El cariño de los pasajeros por la colectivera de Lanús
Para poder reunir el dinero necesario para pagar la prótesis que necesita la colectivera de Lanús, la campaña de difusión en redes sociales la encabezó una pasajera llamada Martina que, agradecida por la amabilidad de Silvana, había difundido en 2016 una foto de ella destacando su trabajo. «Hoy necesita nuestra ayuda», escribió.
Hace unos años, había remarcado la atención a los pasajeros que tenía la chofer del colectivo de la línea 295, en contraste con otros conductores. «Hace un excelente trabajo. Muchas personas, especialmente las mayores, no se cansaban de decirle ‘gracias por su actitud’, ‘si todos fueran como vos’, ‘esto te convierte en más hermosa de lo que sos’», había manifestado.
Y profundizado sobre el hecho de que asociaran su amabilidad al hecho de ser mujer, argumentando que los conductores varones también deberían comportarse de la misma manera: «¿Por qué no puede ser igualitario? ¿Por qué tenemos que soportar la falta del respeto del chofer? ¿Por qué critican a la gente mayor cuando tarda en subir? ¿Por qué nosotros tenemos que soportar que ellos te apuren para llegar a horario. Esto no debería ocurrir. Seas anciano, adulto, adolescente o niño, Silvana te trata de la misma manera, te arrima el colectivo para que sea más cómoda tu subida como tu bajada. Y recibís un ‘buenos días’, ‘gracias’ y ‘de nada’».
Para ayudar a la colectivera de Lanús, está disponible una cuenta bancaria para recibir donaciones. El tiempo corre y deben completar la colecta para que se pueda llevar a cabo la cirugía con el mes de octubre como fecha límite y así cambiar radicalmente su calidad de vida.
